RSS Socks

RSS Pattern ImageI love socks and I love lace. (I love cables too, but that’s another pattern…) These socks are based on a pair that I bought years ago. I’ve been intrigued by the stitch pattern and thought I might be able to replicate it. Of course the store bought socks are made with a much thinner yarn, so these have 1 less pattern repeat. I like the way they came out. They are very comfortable, and the Picot edge on the cuff is really cute.

RSS Relaxing by the pool

I think these would be a good first pair for someone who wants to try their hand at socks. The lace pattern is super easy and can be memorized quickly. I have included links in the pattern for some of the special techniques. They are worked from the top down. You can work them with your choice of method, DPNs, Magic Loop, or (my fav) Two Socks On Two Circs.
